Note 5: Film and Television Costs, Net

 

As of June 30, 2020, the Company had net Film and Television Costs of $9,996,300, compared to $9,906,885 at December 31, 2019. The increase primarily relates to the production costs associated with Rainbow Rangers Season 2 and development of Stan Lee’s Superhero Kindergarten offset by the amortization of Rainbow Rangers Season 1 and Llama Llama Seasons 1 and 2.

 

During the three months ended June 30, 2020 and 2019, the Company recorded Film and Television Cost amortization expense of $185,748 and $192,803, respectively. During the six months ended June 30, 2020 and 2019, the Company recorded Film and Television Cost amortization expense of $292,363 and $621,986, respectively.
